Super Bowl 53 Odds: Rams Slide Again on NFL Betting Futures

Super Bowl 53 odds

After back-to-back losses, the Los Angeles Rams have seen their Super Bowl 53 odds continue to drop.
Following their upset loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week as 13.5-point favorites, the Rams have dropped to +425 on the latest Super Bowl 53 odds. A week ago, the Rams were at +315 and the week prior they were listed as +300 favorites.
The Rams have struggled mightily down the final stretch of the regular season. That’s especially been the case for starting quarterback Jared Goff, who has thrown zero touchdowns and six interceptions in his last two games.
The Rams have the chance to bounce back with what appear to be easy matchups against the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers to close out the regular season. They won’t want to take the 49ers too lightly though, as they have surprised as of late with back-to-back upset wins.

Super Bowl 53 Odds: Saints in Spotlight Atop the Betting Lines

The Super Bowl favorite on the futures is still the New Orleans Saints at +260. That’s up slightly from last week when they were listed at +425. The Saints escaped with a win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday night and finish off the season with back-to-back home games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Panthers again.
Thanks to the Rams’ recent struggles the Saints have the opportunity to gain home field advantage throughout the playoffs. If that happens their odds should get even better. The Saints have won 13 of their last 14 games at home, and in the playoffs, they’ve won six straight at home.
Rounding out the rest of the top five on the Super Bowl 53 odds are the Kansas City Chiefs at +550, the New England Patriots at +700 and the Los Angeles Chargers at +750. From that trio, the only one that has seen their odds improve this week are the Chargers.
After defeating the Chiefs last week, the Chargers went from +1000 to +750 on the futures. The Chargers have clinched a playoff spot, but are still fighting for the division title with games against the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos remaining.
The Chiefs, down to +550 from +480 before their loss to the Chargers, finish out the regular season at the Seattle Seahawks and at home to the Oakland Raiders. Kansas City may actually not want to play at home in the playoffs. In their last six postseason games at home, the Chiefs are 0-6.

Super Bowl 53 Odds: Ravens, Colts on Move on NFL Futures

The two teams that saw the biggest rise on the odds this week were the Baltimore Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts.
The Ravens have won four of their last five games and went from +4000 to +2700 on the Super Bowl futures. The Ravens still have a shot at the AFC North title if Pittsburgh falters, but they’ll need an upset win over the Chargers this week to do it.
The Colts kept their playoff hopes alive with an impressive win over Dallas last week that also bumped them from +5000 to +3300 on the Super Bowl futures. The Colts will need some help to claim the last AFC Wild Card spot, but they have winnable games left against Tampa Bay and Tennessee.
