The confetti had literally not yet settled on their Super Bowl 54 victory when oddsmakers installed the Kansas City Chiefs as Super Bowl 55 favorites.
Patrick Mahomes pocketed the Super Bowl MVP award as oddsmakers made the Chiefs 6-1 favorites at Bovada.
And it was the AFC team led by the other young stud QB, reigning regular season NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, that came in as second betting choice. The Baltimore Ravens opened as 8-1 odds.
Those odds are the same as Super Bowl 54 losers, the San Francisco 49ers. The New Orleans Saints rated fourth at 10-1 with the New England Patriots fifth at 11-1.
The Raiders, who will be the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020 season, are 35-1 longshots if you believe a change of scenery will change their Super Bowl prospects.
