Super Bowl Odds

Rams -4, Total 49

The LA Rams, armed with Matthew Stafford and an array of receiving threats along with a stout defense, opened as 4-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56 odds.

For the second straight, a ‘home’ team is involved as Super Bowl 56 is hosted at SoFi Stadium. Last year, the Tampa Bay Bucs won as ‘home’ underdogs over Kansas City.

Cincinnati hadn’t won a playoff game since 1991 before reeling off three straight upsets to win the AFC Championship. Young QB Joe Burrow directs a talented young offense and has shown poise under pressure in these playoffs.

As always, Super Bowl props such as the coin toss, national anthem over under and MVP futures are available.

Chiefs Open -3 vs Bucs

It felt inevitable that Kansas City would be back, 12 months after winning Super Bowl 54. Not so much with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who needed a pair of tough playoff road wins as underdogs to get here.

The Chiefs are unofficially road favorites here as the game is hosted by Tampa Bay. Even with home field advantage muted by Covid-19 fan restrictions, this is still a big deal to see KC as 3-point favorites.

Watch for line moves during the week to see where the number settles.

Bills climb to highest level in decades

Seeing the Buffalo Bills at +850 and the second betting choice among AFC teams is a rare event indeed. But that is what 2020 has brought us – unpredictability.

Although seeing the Kansas City Chiefs at +175 was predictable given their weapons on offense. In between those AFC bookends sit the Green Bay Packers at +500 and the New Orleans Saints at +750 among the contenders.

Curiously (thanks again 2020), three terrible NFC East teams remain on the list as the division winner could have just six victories on the season.

For Pittsburgh Steelers believers, your team is now 20-1,  which might be the best value you will ever get.

Steelers rise, Cowboys plummet

While KC and Baltimore remained the frontrunners after six weeks, Pittsburgh and Tennessee were climbing on the Super Bowl 55 futures board, ahead of their Week 7 matchup. That game pitted two undefeated teams each at 5-0, a late-season anomaly that had happened just a few times in NFL history according to NationalFootballPost.com.

Pittsburgh was up to +1100 while the Titans were +1500.

The NFC East remained a disaster with the injury-riddled 2-4 Dallas Cowboys leading at 2-4. So while they plunged from +1800 to +6000 according to BetRivers Sportsbook, they remain a playoff option and anything can happen in the post-season. So 60-1, maybe….

Seattle continued to edge higher to +750 as the top NFC contender. They have a tough Week 7 engagement with Arizona, who just crushed the Cowboys on Monday Night.

Chiefs push to top after three weeks

For a while, it looked like the Super Bowl 55 co-favorites would remain neck-and-neck atop the futures boards. But then the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens met up in the Week 3 Monday Nighter and something had to give.

A 34-20 road win by the Chiefs pushed them to +350 on the futures list at most sportsbooks, while the Ravens settled at +650 in second spot. Seattle, off to a 3-0 start, is now the top-rated NFC contender at +1000, with the 3-0 Packers right behind them at +1400.

Chiefs remain top pick as season approaches

Seattle inched up, Houston jumped significantly but nobody knocked the Kansas City Chiefs from their perch as top betting choice in Super Bowl 55 futures this week.

The defending champs remained +600, while the Baltimore Ravens continued to sit right behind them at +650.  The rest of the board was pretty static, as we entered late August without a preseason schedule, without injuries and holdouts and without the traditional jockeying for preseason future superiority.

Seattle moved to +1800 from +2000 a few weeks ago, while Houston was the big mover, jumping from +6600 to +4500 – still a longshot but moving into the range where bettors consider them a value bet.

It’s getting harder to be a Los Angeles Rams believer and the Super Bowl 55 future odd certainly reflect that reality.

Chiefs open as slight favorites vs Niners

If the Super Bowl were the Kentucky Derby, oddsmakers would be calling it a dead heat – or maybe Kansas City by a nose. As of 2 p.m. ET, KC was -1.5 with a high total of 54 that many bettors were anxious to bet UNDER.

*Editor note: Check our full list Super Bowl parlay bets as well!

Super Bowl 54 odds opened Sunday night after the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers won the conference title games. And oddsmakers opened the Chiefs as 1-point favorites.

KC got behind early again in the AFC title game and Tennessee looked like it was heading for its third straight road upset in these playoffs. But Patrick Mahomes was having none of it. His performance is probably what oddsmakers decided was the difference.

The Niners meanwhile manhandled the Green Bay Packers and Raheem Mostert scored four TDs Sunday night.

KC is back in the Super Bowl for the first time in 54 years. The Niners will aim to tie the Patriots with six Super Bowl victories.

Alternate Point Spreads

If you think the Niners or Chiefs will win big, you can get a much bigger payout by betting them as 3 point favorites or 7 point favorites. So below, that means if you bet the 49ers at -12.5, you get a +400 (or 4-1) payout on your wager!

Chiefs new Super Bowl faves

After a full season hanging around the top, the Kansas City Chiefs now sit at the very top of Bet on Super Bowl 54 future odds.

KC sits at +135. You wouldn’t have guessed this in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against Houston when they trailed 24-0 at home. But then they reeled off a 51-7 run to earn an AFC title game spot.

San Francisco easily handled the Vikings to sit second at +165.

Seahawks make major leap

Seattle opened the week at 25-1 and ended it at 11-1 after winning in Philadelphia.

The Seahawks were the big mover in the Bet on Super Bowl 54 odds chart. They go to Green Bay this week.

Meanwhile, all those Patriots and Saints ticket holders now have worthless paper. Both teams were upset at home and the Baltimore Ravens enjoy their shortest odds of the year with Tom Brady out of the way.

Pats worst odds in decade

It wasn’t just blowing a Week 17 home game to the lowly Dolphins, as much as the way they lost it.

The result is that the defending champion New England Patriots start the playoffs on Wild Card weekend and with 10-1 odds, their lowest Super Bowl odds in a decade.

Baltimore won in Week 17 to go to 14-2, even with Lamar Jackson and other stars resting. They are +220 to win it all and they will host two games before the Super Bowl, if they make it that far.

Either the Seahawks or Eagles will have much shorter odds by next week. They face off in Philly with the Eagles currently 35-1 and Seattle 25-1. The Eagles remain devastated by injuries, but are at home and face a Seattle team that has been erratic lately.

Raiders 350-1 if can survive Week 17

Miraculously the Oakland Raiders remain alive but their 350-1 Bet on Super Bowl 54 odds remain primarily a joke.

Ditto the Dallas Cowboys at 60-1, but beware of Dallas – if they beat the Redskins and the Eagles lose at the Giants, they get to host a Wild Card game. The opponent would be slumping Minnesota or Seattle.

Baltimore will rest in Week 17 and will hit the post season as Super Bowl 54 favorites. Currently they sit at +225 at Bovada. The Patriots are +550 and the Chiefs +650, rounding out the AFC contenders.

The 49ers and Saints hover around 6-1. Check out the current odds.

San Francisco’s last-minute thriller victory at New Orleans cemented the Niners status as the top NFC team in the Bet on Super Bowl 54 futures poll.

New England sagged further after a home loss to the Chiefs, while the comically bad NFC East now shows both the Cowboys and Eagles tied as 40-1 long shots. Oddsmakers sensibly don’t give them even a chance against the top NFC teams once January arrives.

Baltimore won a thrilling 20-17 decision against the San Francisco 49ers to move to +260, dropping New England to second spot at +350. The Saints and Seahawks each won and stayed near the top, while the Niners remain firmly in the mix.

The Patriots remain atop the board while on a bye week and travel to Philly this week. Check out the current odds from online sportsbooks.

And the 49ers remained perfect and inched closer to the top of the Bet on Super Bowl 54 odds board at +750. The Patriots remain short odds at +220 while the Saints moved to 5-1.

Eagles, Browns enjoy futures bounce

It’s early in the season and Super Bowl 54 future odds are subject to ‘recency bias’ for sure. Last week the Browns and Eagles were falling, but Week 4 victories gave each team a bounce.

Philly was lucky to win Thursday night in Green Bay and oddsmakers jumped them back into the top tier of Super Bowl 54 contenders. The Browns enjoyed a similar bounce, but remain 22-1 longshots if you love the Dawg Pound.

The Patriots were good and lucky in remaining unbeaten at Buffalo. They remain +350.

Lines shorten at top after Week 3

Super Bowl 54 future odds began tightening at the top, as early contenders prove themselves and early pretenders continue to fade.

The Rams, Packers and Cowboys all nudged closer to the Patriots, still atop the board at +333. The Chiefs also nudged closer, now at 5-1 odds.

Meanwhile the Browns and Eagles, preseason contenders, continued to struggle and lose game they could win. Each is 1-2 and both tumbling in the wrong direction. Of course if you still believe in those teams, now is the time to lock in (22-1 for Philly and 35-1 for Cleveland).

Brown signing, Pats dominant Week 1 shake up Super Bowl futures

Antonio Brown culminated an off season shit show by getting released by Oakland and signed by, who else, the New England Patriots. Predictably, the Patriots Super Bowl odds surged.

As Week 2 loomed, the tight odds atop the Super Bowl 54 futures page suddenly loosened with New England now the big chalk at +375. That followed on the heels of a dominant Week 1 victory, 33-3, over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Books pushed the Pats higher as some immediately posted odds on whether they would go 16-0 and then win the Super Bowl. It was a 10-1 bet, as they headed for Miami as the biggest road favorite in NFL history. (They were -19 at Baltimore in the 2007 season).

Kansas City slipped to the second betting choice at +750 while five NFC teams lock down the next spots, with the Saints and Eagles – both comeback winners in Week 1 – at +800 and +1000 respectively.

The Colts continue their slide from contender to pretender status in the wake of Andrew Luck’s retirement.

Luck retirement sends Colts Super Bowl line plunging

Andrew Luck retired on the eve of the season, hopefully before too many people put down big bets on the Indianapolis Colts to win Super Bowl 54.

Citing injuries and rehab fatigue, Luck retired. The Colts, who had been in the top tier of contenders around 15-1, were dropped to 50-1.

On the flip side, Dallas Cowboys odds improved upon the signing of Ezekiel Elliott and Oakland’s slim chance got slimmer with the Antonio Brown saga. (Note: Brown has been released by the Raiders and signed with the Patriots).

Preseason Betting Produces Small Line Moves

Neither the draft, nor trade season nor free agency has managed to upset the Super Bowl 54 betting apple cart so far.

So it was not surprising that the start of the NFL preseason yielded no major moves, according to sportsbooks monitored by BetOnSuperBowl.com

The Chiefs, Patriots, Saints and Rams remain at the top with the Browns, Eagles, Bears and Colts nipping at their heels.

Super Bowl 54 Odds Moving

Free agency, retirements, trades all conspired to shake up the Super Bowl 54 odds in early 2019. The upcoming NFL draft will likely create some more changes. As of March 25, the New England Patriots have lost their position at the top and the Kansas City Chiefs have supplanted them as the early Super Bowl 54 favorites.

Super Bowl 53 odds Are Set!! Rams vs Patriots

Patriots lovers rejoice! Patriots haters complain!

For the third straight season, New England will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. And expect them to move to slight favorite status after the line opened as PK Sunday night vs the Los Angeles Rams and had already started to move towards the Pats.

Both title games went to OT, both road teams won. Now the old maestro Tom Brady gets challenged by a second young phenom, as Jared Goff tries to cap the Rams’ terrific season.

New Orleans remains the slight +175 favorite, as they host the Rams in the Superdome where they seem to always win. Meanwhile the Chiefs will host New England and sit at +275.

The Rams and Patriots are next at +350 and +333 respectively. Check out the latest lines below and watch for Super Bowl props to start bombarding your twitter feed and inboxes next week.

It’s still the Saints but beware those Eagles, down to 14/1 odds from 50/1 odds just a few weeks ago.

If the Eagles can pull another upset in New Orleans, the Philly odds will shrink again.

Kansas City gets its chance to improve its Super Bowl 53 odds by hosting red-hot Indianapolis. The Chiefs are 4/1, same as the Rams who also play Saturday hosting the Cowboys, who are the biggest underdog on the board.

The Patriots and Chargers clash Sunday with the Pats favored but LA threatening as a 9/1 shot. Check out the latest below, then check out the sportsbook reviews for a list of the best places to bet on Super Bowl 53.

Super Bowl 53 Odds Update Wild Card Weekend

Goodbye dysfunctional Steelers, see ya later choking Vikings. Only 12 teams remain on the Super Bowl odds menu, topped again by the New Orleans Saints and this week with the defending champions at the bottom.

The latest chart shows the value in paying attention to Super Bowl betting odds all season long. In September, the Bears and Colts were each 100/1 long shots. Now they are each four wins away from paying out HUGE for bettors.

Chicago is favored at home to the Eagles and have moved from 100/1 to 7/1 for those looking to bet on Super Bowl 53. The Bears rank #5 on this list, behind only the Saints, Rams, Patriots and Chiefs.

Philly snuck into the playoffs – thanks to the Bears upset of the Vikings – and sit at 35/1. They were 9/1 to start the year, but were almost 100/1 a few weeks back when they looked dead in the water.

The Saints haven’t looked super, but good enough to remain at the top of the Super Bowl futures table at +250. In fact none of the front runners looked super in Week 16.

The Rams are +450 in second place, while the Kansas City Chiefs lost but remained in third place at +500. The struggling Patriots are next at +650.

Seattle nudges into the Value zone at +2500 as they have clinched a playoff spot. Either the Vikings or Eagles will be in, depending on Week 17 outcomes, but either will face a tough challenge to win road games all playoff long. They are both +3300 (33/1 odds).

The AFC’s top two teams, who played a thrilling Thursday Night game this week, are 6/1 and 7/1 respectively (with the KC Chiefs at 6/1). New England, despite another lame loss, are 8/1 while the Steelers (who beat the Pats) inched up to 14/1 after snapping an ugly three-game losing streak.

Super Bowl 53 Odds Update Week 15

The Chargers are coming! The Chargers are coming! If you didn’t fear the LA Chargers after Week 12 when they sat at 18-1 on the Super Bowl 53 futures list, how do you like them now at 12-1?

A comeback win at Pittsburgh in Week 13 turns the Chargers into the biggest mover this week. The LA Rams and New Orleans Saints remained tied atop the leader board at +350, while the Patriots inched from +600 to +500 after a win against the Vikings.

The Philadelphia Eagles also made a little jump from extreme long shot at 40-1 to possible playoff contender with a sloppy win against a decimated Redskins team. See the latest Super Bowl 53 updates below.

Week 13 update

The playoff picture is coming more into focus with several slumping teams falling off the list and top four or five teams almost punching their ticket to games in January.

The Chicago Bears are the biggest movers after Week 12 as they settle in at 16-1. The Houston Texans, riding an eight-game win streak, continue to get no love on Super Bowl 53 futures odds as they remained at 22-1.

Topping the NFL futures list were the LA Rams and New Orleans Saints, each getting a +350 number (meaning $100 bet turns a $350 profit if they win it all). Behind them, a trio of AFC teams are currently considered the contenders with the Kansas City Chiefs at +450, the New England Patriots next at +600 (or 6-1) and the Pittsburgh Steelers at 10-1, despite an upset loss to the Broncos in Week 12.

The LA Chargers and Dallas Cowboys remain interesting value at 18-1 and 20-1 respectively and both have been winning impressively. The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles continue to tumble, as their hopes of making the playoffs appear to be dwindling. They are currently at 40-1.

Week 11 Super Bowl Odds Update

The LA Rams finally have some company at the top of the Super Bowl 53 futures board. The New Orleans Saints continue their impressive run and now sit as the co-favorite to win Super Bowl 53 at +325. That means a $100 bet would produce a $325 profit if either team wins on February 3, 2019 in Atlanta.

The three AFC teams that seem to have the best shot of representing that conference in Super Bowl 53 hold down the next three spots. The high-flying, but defensively challenged KC Chiefs are +550 while the perennial contenders from Boston are 6-1. Love them or loathe them, the New England Patriots are never far from the top of Super Bowl futures lists.

And the Pittsburgh Steelers, now fated to play the season without Le’Veon Bell but getting plenty of production from that position anyway, are 9-1.

The Green Bay Packers, a preseason pick by many to make the Super Bowl, continue to lose and therefore continue to see their Super Bowl 53 odds tumble. Books had them as 66-1 longshots after another weekend loss (to Seattle).
